If you read my post before on how Canon EOS Rebel XT survived a fall from God knows how many feet, then there’s another video on how a camcorder survived the fall too. This time it’s a Sony DCR-PC330 Camcorder. I’m trying to get the pictures of the camcorder after the fall, but there’s none at the moment.
Here’s a short info on how it happened.
After filming a skydive, my camera ripped off my head on deployment. The damned thing kept recording the rest of the way down (while spinning) until it crashed through the treetops, hitting 2 branches, and finally settling on a bed of leaves. YouGoBuySony!!

If you look at the comment section on the original youtube page, it seems like the camera are also left out in the wild for some days and exposed to rain in the process. It is also mentioned that the camera cracked after the fall, but it’s still functional!
If I were this guy, I would sell this video to Sony and make a lot of money from it. LOL!
