Nintendo DSI XL will be available in Europe starting from this coming March. The new Nintendo DSI that was launched in Japan last October and known as Nintendo DSI LL will be in stores of UK and around Europe starting from 5th March. It is reported that it will be preloaded with “Dictionary 6 in 1 with Camera Function” and “Dr Kawashima’s: Little Bit of Brain Training: Arts Edition”.

There is no official announcement from Nintendo regarding the price. The Nintendo DSI XL features two 4.2 inch screens, which are 93% bigger than the screens on the current Nintendo DSI Lite, and it also comes with a larger stylus

Finally, Sony has confirmed the rumors of the slim edition of Playstation 3 or PS3. The much awaited news came from Sony official announcement at GamesCon 2009 in Cologne. It still retains most of the Sony PS3 console features but comes with some upgrades. As for now, the official confirmed the news as per below:

• 120 GB hard disk ( upgraded from 80 GB in old PS3 console)
• no backward compatibility with PS2 games
• 33 percent smaller, 36 percent lighter and 34 percent less power use
• Announced prices are $299 (or €299, £249, and ¥29,980), depending on the location
• estimated launch date : early September

Overall, it’s a great addition to the Sony Playstation family and if you’re waiting to buy PS3, wait for the slim PS3 to be on sale, the price for the bulkier PS3 will drop surely! For the time being, enjoy the pictures of Sony Playstation 3 slim edition.
