Give me any digital SLR (dSLR) camera model that you think might answer the question above. If you answered something from Canon, then you might be close to the right answer. If you pick Canon Rebel XT, then you are absolutely spot on! Possibly, it’s the toughest dSLR camera out there after a 3000ft crash test (well, it’s accidental one and not really something they do to purposely test the toughness.)
So, to cut the story short, here’s the summary of it. There’s a guy that we called A (not real name) that has a Canon Rebel XT. Then he sold the camera to a friend named B (not a real name) and it happens to be a skydive instructor. So B used Canon Rebel XT and mount it on his head, something like this photo below.

Then, on one unfortunate day, the camera slipped of the plate on his head. Here’s the video recording of the jump.

Woot! Canon Rebel XT survived the crash dude! Unluckily, it’s friend, the video camera didn’t survive the fall and died tragically!
